8 Benefits of Figs

Figs are one of the best-known foods in the Middle East, and it’s no surprise why. They’re tasty, versatile, healthy, and have quite a few health benefits as well! If you don’t know much about this fruit yet, you might be surprised at what they can do for you! Here are some of the top benefits of figs, followed by one of my favorite ways to eat them!

Constipation can be uncomfortable and even painful. Luckily, there are ways to prevent it. One medium-sized custard apple contains about 7 grams of fiber. For example, with just one cup of coconut water (about 240 ml) you’ll already have 10% of your daily recommended intake. You also won’t feel hungry: If you’re drinking a liquid meal or replacing food altogether, it may seem counterintuitive that you won’t end up feeling hungry. However, if the drink has sufficient protein and fat content, then the body will send out signals telling the brain that we’re full. Coconut water is an excellent source of both! It’s refreshing on hot days: We all know that staying hydrated is important for our health.

2) Iron boosts your energy levels

Custard apples are a good source of iron, which is essential for carrying oxygen to your cells and giving you energy. Eating foods like custard apples that are high in iron can help boost your energy levels and prevent these symptoms. 6.
